Groceries for Eating Clean

If you’re looking to make some changes to your poor eating habits, but are unsure with where you should start or even what you should be eating, I’ve provided a “grocery list” for you.

Before you even enter a grocery store, know that sticking to the outside perimeter of the store contains most of the healthier, non-processed, clean-eating foods. The only types of food I get that take me into the middle aisles of the store are packages of tuna, rice cakes, breads and cereals. Other than that you’ll find me roaming around the outside perimeter.

Alright, let’s get started:

Proteins

Boneless Chicken
Bison
Ground Turkey
Extra Lean Ground Beef
Organic Turkey Bacon
Egg Whites
Fat-free Cottage Cheese
Plain Greek Yogurt
Fish (Tuna, Haddock, Tilapia, etc.)
Shrimp
Top Sirloin
Whey Protein Powder
Beef Tenderloin
