14 Recipes for Homemade Healthy High Protein Low Carb Snacks

Written by | Posted under Nutrition | 1 year ago

Lately, I’ve been on a search for a healthy high protein snacks that also contains low carb content to satisfy snack cravings on my rest days (days where I eat primary fats and protein and < 100g of carbs total). After dilly-dallying on the internet for a while, I stumbled upon PROTEIN POW(D)ER, an awesome site with tons and tons of homemade recipes for making real food with the addition of protein powder.

Unfortunately the site was a bit difficult to navigate to try to find recipes that had a specific macronutrient ratio, which sucks because I’m specifically looking for recipes that have 4:1:X PCF ratio (4 Protein to 1 Carb to whatever Fat ratio). So I literally went through what felt like the entire archives to pick out high protein low carb snacks from the site. So that my efforts did not go to waste, I’ve decided to round up some recipes that fit this criteria so that others can benefit from the time I spent traversing the archives.
