In the spirit of spreading knowledge, we welcome all high quality guest posts on TweakFit! If you would like to submit a guest post to TweakFit, make sure to following these guidelines to avoid getting your submission rejected.
What Kind of Content Do We Accept?
In order to maintain article quality, we only accept high quality articles from fitness/nutrition experts who really know what they are talking about. If you are not a personal trainer/nutritionist, or if your article makes claims that do not have proper references, then there’s a high chance that your article will be rejected.
The golden rule is, “anything useful and factual [with supporting research] for our readers is a good candidate for a guest post.” All articles should provide concrete tips to help the reader get in shape.
Our standards for a guest post candidate is extremely high, so please don’t take it personal if we do not accept your article. We believe that publishing high quality content less often is the way to go.
Here are some things to consider before submitting an article to TweakFit:
- Is your content relevant to the topic of this site?
- Does your content provide a real/concrete benefit to the reader? or is it just a fluff piece?
- Is the quality of your content up to par with the following articles?

Writing Guidelines
After your idea is approved, please adhere to the following writing guidelines:
- If your article gets reject, resubmissions are not accepted, so please work hard to make the article useful and factual.
- Articles should be at least 600 words long
This is more of a general guideline than a strict rule. Most great content on this site is well over 600 words. - Must be unique and original content
We run all submissions through multiple plagiarism detection tools so don’t even think about it. - No re-publishing
You agree to not publish the post anywhere else (for example, on your own blog or as a guest post on any other blog). - No SEO’d anchor text links in post
You are allowed to include a byline section at the end of your article (where you can place self-promoting links), so do not include any SEO’d anchor text links inside the actual post content itself. An example article byline can be something similar the following:The following article is a guest post by [your name], [any of your certifications], who [promote your business here]. To fine out more about [your name], check out [site name].
- No more than 2 link in the byline
No link spamming please! - Attributions
Make sure you link to credible third-party sources where appropriate. - No copyright infringement
Make sure you do no infringe on copyright laws in terms of text or images (use attributions if necessary).
